David, the lord over our IT realm, has defended his thesis on Magnetically Functionalized Star Polymers and Polymer Melts in MPCD Simulations. We will dearly miss him (and his IT skills). The succession to our IT throne must be determined soon or chaos will reign in our group. We wish him all the best for his future endeavours and we will be happy if he visits sometime.

Ulf Pedersen has joined our group as a post-doc after working at UC Berkeley for two years. Marta Montes has finished her master's thesis and will start working as a PhD student in the group after a short break. Moritz Antlanger, who has already completed an extensive student project in our group, will start working on his master's thesis this autumn.

Our offices are getting quite crowded again: Marta Montes, who is on an Erasmus stay at the Vienna University of Technology, has joined our group as a Master student. Also, Giannis Georgiou has arrived to take our second COMPLOIDS PhD position.
