New PhD position available
The Soft Matter Theory group at the Institute for Theoretical Physics of the TU Wien announces the opening of a three-years PhD position in Soft Matter Theory and calls for applications until September 15, 2018. See the official announcement for more details.

Emanuela was awarded the prestigious START grant. The START Programme targets outstanding young researchers of any discipline and aims to provide researchers with long-term and extensive financial security to plan their research and to build up their own research groups. Congratulations!

Ulf Pedersen has joined our group as a post-doc after working at UC Berkeley for two years. Marta Montes has finished her master's thesis and will start working as a PhD student in the group after a short break. Moritz Antlanger, who has already completed an extensive student project in our group, will start working on his master's thesis this autumn.

Two new Members
